Q. I am not a beauty therapist, can I still come on one of your courses.
A. Yes you can, although you must choose a course designed for your level of training.
Q. Can I get insurance when I finish the course?
A. Yes if the course is an accredited course.
Q. Can I fail the course?
A. As part of the course you will be entitled to come back after a few weeks practicing at home and re-sit the final assessment for free. You can do this as many times as it takes.
Q. How much will it cost?
A. Each of our courses is individually priced, but the average is £120 per day.
Q. Are there any hidden costs?
A. While we try to keep costs down to a minimum, you will of course have to buy things like a brush to do acrylics. Each course page will tell you if there is anything you need to buy.
Q. Is there any after course support.
A. Yes we are always at the end of the phone to offer support and advice.
Q. How long before I can start earning after I receive my certificate and get insurance.
A. We advise that after completion of the course you go home and practice, practice, practice. Ask family and friends if you can do the treatment you learnt on them, and if they would feel happy to pay for the service you gave. When the answer is yes, go for it.
Q. I can't read or write very well. Can i still do your courses.
A. Yes, we will make sure that everyone gets the support and help they need and oral tests can be given instead of written ones if needed.
Q. How much can I charge for the treatment I learn?
A. We recommend going around the salons in your area and finding an average price. For example acrylic nails can range from £25 to £65 depending on where you live.
Q. Do I have to complete the online work before I come on the course?
A. Yes
Q. I notice you do refresher courses, and I can't remember how to do the treatment at all. Is this the course for me?
A. No, these courses are for when you are just a bit rusty. If you can't remember anything you should do the full course.
Q. Do you do kits for the courses you run?
A. No, we are a dedicated training establishment, and although we will help you with product information, we decided that you should be able to buy the products from any place you like.
Q. How often do your courses run?
A. We try to run courses to suit our students and will arrange a date that is mutually convenient for both of us.
Q. Do you run courses with government funding.
A. No not directly, but we have had people gain funding from The Princes Trust in order to attend our courses.
Q. Do you offer package discounts.
A. Please contact us to discuss further.
Q. Do I have to pay a deposit and how much?
A. Yes. When you book onto a course we ask for a non-refundable deposit of 20% or £20, whichever is the greater. At this time you will receive a Username and Password so you can do the online part of the course.
